Story

“The Jungle book” is an adaptation of the text of the same name by the English Nobel laureate Rudyard Kipling, who spent part of his childhood without presence of his parents. Kipling also spent his career as a journalist in India, where he met the rich fauna of the Indian subcontinent. The work itself has many elements of autobiographical details transferred to the animal world. “The Jungle Book” was adapted in the Disney studio as one of the classics directed by Wolfgang Reitherman (1967). It is basically about seven stories merged into one. In our adaptation, the text is significantly adapted to the conditions required by the theatrical ambience. The original text has been updated, with a lot of witty elements. The colorful costumes, colorful scenography and adapted music of George Bruns from the cartoon of the same name, are the basis for a theatrical story about human characters set in the animal kingdom and are adapted for the age that mainly make the audience of this play.
